Barbie dress - Water.
After I knitted the skirt with the wave pattern I had the idea to expand the pattern and knit a dress. The result was this beautiful dress in many colors.

Barbie dress – Water
The dress is knitted back and forth on 2,5mm needles in single strand of Ístex unspun.
I use purple, blue, turquise and white.
Cast on 80 sts in purple.
Knit 2 rounds (garter st).
2 rounds stocking st.
Pattern 1.
After pattern 1 50 sts remain on needles, continue in white.
3 rounds stocking st, dec on next round, 10 sts evenly across round. 40 sts remaining.
5 rounds stocking st, dec on next round, 10 sts evenly across round. 30 sts remaining.
5 rounds stocking st, dec on next round to 26 sts evenly across round. Purl from WS.
Pattern 2, first and last st on round does not fit into pattern.
After pattern 2, 5 rounds stocking st in purple, end on RS.
P6, cast off 1 st, P12, cast off 1 st, P6.
Knit next row, cast on 8 sts in stead of the one cast off in the previous round.
Cast off in knit.

Eftir að ég prjónaði pilsið með öldumunstrinu datt mér í hug að útfæra það frekar og gera úr því kjól. Útkoman varð þessi flotti kjóll í mörgum litum.
